Terra Naturals is one of the brand deodorants that I came across on my visit to Herbs Nature Garden. I have heard of foods, skin and hair products, but this was my first seeing organic deodorant.  I immediately picked it up and observed the front label. This particular kind was green tea. A few of the things I noticed first were vegan, aluminum free, GMO free and phthalate free.  This was also the first time that I had seen deodorant that was consider vegan. I was intrigued I must say. I decided to give this a try for a few days.

When I Used It

Day 1 – This Green Tea Terra Naturals Vegan Deodorant smells kind of minty. Applying this stuff was light and the mint gave me a slight refresh. It glides on clear and it felt a little sticky at first. After I headed out for my day, it was almost like I had nothing on, literally. My work day ended up being very laid back. After my 8 hours, I was home and the deodorant seemed to have performed pretty well.

Day 2 – On this day, application was the same as before and I headed out to work. This day was very cold so I wrapped up very well. The guys at work love to have the cool air on, no matter what the weather outside. I get cold easily so I kept my coat on while I was at work. This caused me to perspire a bit under my arms because I was interacting quite a bit with my clients. By the time I finished my 8 hours and got home, I noticed a light smell from my under arms. It seems like the deodorant did not hold up good against all of the perspiration.

My thoughts

This is a really good, light deodorant for conservative days. It’s a great way to go naturally organic on your day off, relaxing around the house, or anything else that doesn’t  require lots of activity. If it is normal for you to sweat a lot then I would not recommend you use this deodorant. It seems that this deodorant is not good for sweat protection as it easily disappears after continuous perspiration. This deodorant can easily be an great item to any Vegan with Amazon’s low price of $3.28! Compared to the price I found it for in the store ($5.99), that’s a big saving!
